Is Acacia Wood Flooring Durable - One question I've been asked time and again on the years working in the wood flooring business is; can my old fitted wooden floor refurbished and be sanded? Many people have a wooden floor in their own house which has been down for 6-10 years which is appearing tired, dull, has stains or scratches in and has definitely seen better days. Most folks understand things to do with a fitted wooden floor is a bit more confusing, although that original floor boards or parquet floors can be sanded back to make a finished floor that is wonderful.

You should learn that it's wood, and most importantly what type of floor you have. I am afraid the only real option is to replace it if your floor is a wood effect laminate then.

There are just two forms of fitted wooden flooring; the great news along with engineered and solid wood flooring is, both refurbished and could be sanded to look as new as the day they were fitted. As it includes an identical construction engineered wooden flooring can occasionally be mistaken for laminate. Engineered wood flooring has a thin layer of real wood, usually between 3-5 millimeters bonded to your base of either MDF or ply board, because that it's fitted together with a tongue and groove and of its construction, additionally, it remains really flat.

Solid wood flooring is more expensive to make and will necessarily cost more to purchase, but in my opinion, it isn't as good a product as engineered as it's more prone to warping.
