Shark Steam Mop Laminate Wood Floors - One question I have already been asked time and again over the years working in the wood flooring business is; can my old wooden floor that is fitted refurbished and be sanded? Many people know that parquet floors or original floor boards could be sanded back to create a wonderful finished floor, but what things to do having a fitted wooden floor is a bit more confusing.

You need to learn which kind of floor you have, & most importantly it is wood. If your floor is a wood effect laminate then I'm afraid the only alternative is to replace it.

There are two forms of wooden flooring that is fitted; the good thing as well as solid and engineered wood flooring is, both refurbished and can be sanded to look as new as the day they were fitted. As it's a similar construction, engineered wooden flooring can occasionally be mistaken for laminate. Engineered wood flooring has a thin layer of real wood, generally between 3-5 mm bonded to your base of ply or MDF board, because that it's fitted together using a tongue and groove and of its construction, additionally, it stays really level.

Solid wood flooring is more expensive to make and certainly will necessarily cost a lot more to purchase, but in my opinion, it isn't as great a product as engineered as it's more inclined to warping.
